63 Terps Garner Fall Academic All-Big Ten Honors

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Sixty-three student-athletes from the University of Maryland football, field hockey, men's and women's soccer, volleyball, and cross country programs were named Fall Academic All-Big Ten selections in a release made by the conference offices Wednesday afternoon.

"Maryland Athletics could not be more proud of our student-athletes and their academic achievements," said Athletic Director Damon Evans. "Earning Academic All-Big Ten honors is a testament not only to the hard work they put in each and every day, but also to the dedicated and talented academic staff here at Maryland."

To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be letter winners who are in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
