COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Maryland field hockey alumnae Anna Dessoye and
Linnea Gonzales were named to the USA's National Team roster for the upcoming Pan American Games. A third former Terrapin, Alyssa Parker, was named an alternate.

Dessoye and Gonzales were named to the 16-player roster and will travel to Lima, Peru for the Pan American Games July 29-August 10.

The U.S. Women's National Team, ranked No. 13 in the world, is in Pool B with No. 15 Chile, No. 29 Mexico and No. 38 Peru. No. 3 Argentina, No. 18 Canada, No. 25 Uruguay and No. 63 Cuba are in Pool B.

The USA will open pool play with against Mexico with a 3 p.m. ET game on July 29. Next, Team USA will take on Chile at 1 p.m. ET on July 31 Â and Peru on Aug. 2 at 1 p.m. ET as well.

The American won gold at the 2015 and 2011 Pan American Games and silver in 2007, 2003 and 1999.
