Terps in the NFL: Week Three

Each week throughout the NFL season, umterps.com will provide a roundup of all the highlights from the Terps action in the NFL.

Darnell Savage Jr. continued to prove himself as a driving force for the Green Bay Packers, making his first career interception in the 27-16 win against the Broncos. After tipping a pass that led to an interception by a teammate last week, the first round draft pick has contributed to the Packers defense the first three weeks of the season with 12 solo tackles.

DJ Moore helped lead the Carolina Panthers to their first win of the season against the Cardinals, 38-20. Moore caught a 52-yard reception and his first touchdown of the season, resulting in the Panther's second of the game. Defensive tackle Quinton Jefferson is making his way to the top of the league for most pressures this season (10) with the Seattle Seahawks. Yannick Ngakoue has played an instrumental part in Jacksonville's defense in weeks one and three. He put up two solo tackles in the Jaguars' win 20-7 against the Titans. Lastly, long snapper Jon Condo hung up the cleats and announced his retirement after one game with the San Francisco 49ers. Condo spent 13 seasons in the NFL, making two Pro Bowls.
