COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland Softball Head Coach
Mark Montgomery announced the addition of veteran pitcher Jennifer Brann. Brann joins the Terps from University of Pennsylvania, having ranked in the top 10 all-time in both strikeouts and wins.

Position: Pitcher
In her four seasons with the Quakers, Brann recorded a 4.27 ERA and notched 167 strikeouts inside the circle. In the 2019 season, Brann recorded a 2.42 ERA and a career-best .213 opponent's batting average. She appeared in seven of the 13 games played in the 2020 shortened season, posting a 1.71 ERA and 5-2 record inside the circle.
Brann was named to the 2019 First-Team All-Ivy League team and All-Academic team.
Montgomery's Take: "Jennifer is a great addition to our pitching staff. She brings upperclassmen leadership plus a senior's experience. She will be a fantastic resource for our young pitchers, and help them with their own growth and development. She has the ability to pitch in the biggest moments because she has been there done that.
