#7 Minnesota Tops Terps Volleyball, 3-0

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- #7 Minnesota completed a two-match sweep with a 3-0 victory over Maryland on Saturday night at the Xfinity Center Pavilion. After a close first set, the Gophers finished off the match winning 25-23, 25-18, 25-15.

  • Sophomore outside hitter Rebekah Rath led the Terps with 13 kills.
  • Senior outside hitter Erika Pritchard had nine kills for Maryland. 
  • Senior setter Nicole Alford piled up 32 assists and six digs. 
  • Senior libero Sam Burgio had a team-best nine digs.
