Niklas Neumann to have a quiet night.
Joshua Bolma and the Maryland attack applied consistent pressure on the Blue Hen backend but couldn't break the scoreless tie until Bender's beautiful game-winner.
Notable Numbers
- The Terps outshot the Blue Hens 17-4Â with a 9-0Â advantage in shots on goal.
- Bolma paced the team with six shots with Jacen Russell-Rowe leading the team with four shots on goal.
- Bender's shot in the 76th minute beat the Delaware goaltender but rang off the post, keeping the game scoreless.
- Neumann posted his second clean sheet of the season with his first coming on Sept. 28 against Rutgers, a game that ended in a 0-0 draw.Â
