BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The University of Maryland volleyball team dropped its series opener vs. Indiana, 3-0, on Friday evening at Wilkinson Hall in Bloomington, Indiana.

What You Should Know

• Senior outside hitter Erika Pritchard led the Terps with 10 kills. Fellow outside hitter, freshman Sam Csire, had her best match in a Maryland uniform, tallying eight kills, three digs, and a block.
• Laila Ricks made her first career start for Maryland, recording five kills, two blocks, and a dig.
• Rainelle Jones hit at a .667 clip, notching five kills on six attempts. She also contributed two blocks.
• Nicole Alford paced the Terps in the set game, tallying 23 assists and a team-high eight digs.
• Cara Lewis continued to be a strong force at the net, leading the team with five blocks.
