
Track and Field Terps Travel to Blacksburg for Virginia Tech Challenge

COLLEGE PARK, MD – The Maryland Indoor Track and Field teams will travel to Blacksburg, VA to compete in the Virginia Tech Challenge on Friday and Saturday (2/18-19). It will serve as their final indoor meet prior to Big Ten Indoor Championships.
Last week the Terrapins competed at the Rutgers Open at the New York Armory Track. Several Terps took home podium finishes including Jeff Kline in the shot put and Chelsey Cole in the Triple Jump. Kami Joi Hickson also sprinted to the fifth fastest time in Terps history in the 600m. Maryland will look to carry on in their successful season, as they begin preparations for the Big Ten Indoor Championship meet.

Maryland will be back in action in the Virginia Tech Challenge this weekend. Competition on Friday is set to begin at 2 PM and the meet results can be followed live here.
