"A solid performance this week in another strong field in California," head coach
Kelly Hovland said. "The team did a great job adapting to the different grass, challenging travel to the west coast and battling illnesses to finish in the top 5 against some of the best teams on the west coast. With three events already in the books, this group has gained so much great experience to build on as we move closer to our goals this spring. But in the short term, they need some rest and to catch up in school before finishing the fall season strong in October."
Next, the Terrapins will compete in the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship Oct. 15-17 at the Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville, Tenn.
