COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Maryland Terrapins track and field team will travel to Charlottesville, Virginia, this weekend to compete in the Virginia Challenge. The two-day meet is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday and 12:30 p.m. Saturday.A peek at the scheduLe
- The Terrapins will compete in one more meet in the month of April, heading to the Penn Relays in Philadelphia on April 23-25th.
- Maryland will start its May competition on the first of the month, hosting the Kehoe Twilight meet in College Park.

- Rhys Allen set a new program fifth best all-time mark in the men's discus at a distance of 58.03 meters.
- Morgan Graham placed in ninth overall in the Women's Discus Open, The junior reached a distance of 52.91 meters.
- Eva Rogers set a new second best all-time mark in program history at a time of 16:24.23 in the 5,000 meters.
- Cayden Justice moved into fifth all-time in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time of 11:01.10.
- Leonora Lynn turned in a time of 36:23.14 in the 10,000 meters which placed the graduate student ninth all-time in program history in the event.
- Sam Ford entered the top-10 program all-time list in the 200 meters after running a time of 21.07 seconds.
- Gabe Levrone, Mykel Morman, Sam Ford and Roman Spikes placed first in the
- 4x100 relay at JMU, posting a time of 40.40 seconds.
- Taylor Riley finished second in the 800 meters with a time of 2:12.78.
- Annika Metzger and Rebecca Burgee both recorded personal bests in the 800 meters with Metzger running 2:10.19 and Burgee 2:14.03, respectively.
