As a Redshirt Sophomore (2013): Did not appear in a game ... was named scout team player of the week prior to Maryland’s game at Wake Forest (10/19) and against Boston College (11/23).
As a Sophomore (2012): Sat out due to NCAA transfer rules … served as a scout team quarterback.
As a Freshman (2011 at Lewis & Clark): Played in four of nine games … rushed 12 times for 50 yards … completed three passes on four attempts for a total of 33 yards and two touchdowns.
At Americas High School: Played quarterback for two years … finished the 2011 season as an all-city and all-district selection after leading Americas to a 7-3 record … elected to all-city and all-district academic teams in 2011 … also played basketball, helping Americas to the district championship as a junior and senior … named to the defensive all-district team in 2011 … graduated with a 3.95 GPA.
Personal: Born in El Paso, Texas … parents are Monte and Vicki Dailey … father Monte played wide receiver at the University of Texas … his brother, Oscar, is a pilot in the U.S. Marine Corps … career plans are to become a physical therapist … a member of the National Honor Society and student council in high school … recruited by UTEP, Lewis & Clark, Florida A&M and Mary Hardin-Baylor.
