"Maryland played a great game. Maryland played like a team
on a mission. They had something to prove that they wanted to accomplish....
They're still looking for that assurance for making the NCAA tournament, and they
played like a team on a mission.
"They out-played us in every aspect of this game. (Maryland head coach) Chris
Weller had them really prepared for this game."
On March? Strickland and Deedee Warley:
"I think their two key players,
Strickland and Warley, carried the team today like you expect your two best
players to play."
"I think the turnovers and free throws were the difference.... They were really a team
focused with a purpose."

On an NCAA tournament future for the Terps:
"We know we're real close to
getting to NCAAs... you never know what's going to happen and you don't want to
let the opportunity go, so we're going after it.
"I think we're definitely a strong consideration, but it may be up to how it plays out
in the (ACC) tournament."
On the strength of the ACC:
"I have to admit, I have never seen the league go this
deep. Hopefully, we'll send at least six teams (to NCAAs)."
