COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland women's lacrosse team completed play Sunday at the ACC/Big Ten Challenge with a 19-2 win over Ohio State.

The Terrapins, 9-0 (3-0 ACC) won both of their games in University Park, Pa., this weekend to push their streak of games without a loss to 29. The run dates back to game three of last season.

In the win, the top-ranked Terps got over half of their goals from their trio of senior All-Americans -- Allison Comito, Quinn Carney and Jen Adams. Comito was the scoring leader against the Buckeyes as she rattled the cage four times and added a pair of assists for four points. Carney also found the back of the net four times while Adams scored twice and had a pair of assists.

The most impressive performance of the day, however, may have come from Maryland's sophomore goalie Alexis Venechanos. In her ninth career start, Venechanos had as many saves (9) and allowed just two goals marking the best save percentage (.222) of her young career.

The Terps next action will be back at home as they will play host to James Madison on Sunday at Ludwig Field. Game time is 2:00 p.m.
