Men's Track Finishes Fourth At U.S. Coaches Series Meet

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Junior Dontae Bugg (Newport News, Va.) and senior Cedrick Rogers eached finished second in their respective events, as the Maryland men's track team finished fourth at the U.S. Coaches Series Meet on Saturday.

The Terps finished with 96 team points. Penn State won the meet with 232 points, followed by Missouri with 182, Akron with 145, and Maryland.

Bugg took second in the 110 hurdles with a time of 14.85, and Cedrick Rogers (Fort Wayne, Ind.) was the runner-up in the long jump with a leap of 23-10 3/4. Junior Phillip Barrett (Upper Marlboro, Md.) finished fifth in the 110 hurdles. In addition, sophomore Mike Prada (Fulton, Md.) took sixth in the 5,000 with a time of 15:45.52. Also, junior Dave Benaderet (Baltimore, Md.) placed sixth in the 400 with a time of 48.98.

The Terps will be in action again next Saturday at Florida State.
