Maryland's Courtney Hobbs was named
Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for her play against William & Mary and Johns Hopkins last week.
Hobbs, a senior midfield/attack from West Lakes, South
Australia, was Maryland's leading scorer last week as the Terps earned
two victories. She notched a career-high nine points (six goals, three
assists) in a 21-11 win over William & Mary. Her six goals came on just
seven shots.
In a 13-8 win over No. 17 Johns Hopkins, Hobbs scored four
goals on seven shots and led all scorers with six points.
For the week,
she shot .714 recording 10 goals, five assists, seven ground balls and
three draw controls.
