Men's Tennis Drops Matches to Florida State and Wake Forest

WINSTON SALEM, N.C. - The University of Maryland Men's Tennis team headed south on their spring break for conference matchups.

The Terps record now stands at 9-6, 0-3 in the ACC, after dropping matches to the Seminoles and the Demon Deacons. Maryland was swept 7-0 in both contests.

On Saturday, March 22 against the No. 45 ranked Seminoles, sophomore David Reichsfeld (Santa Cruz, Bolivia) and freshman Scott Peters (Hopkinton, Mass.) were able to push their opponents to three sets.

On Monday March 24, the Terps faced off against Wake Forest who is ranked 28 by ITA rankings. The Deacs looked impressive as they notched their first ACC win, 7-0 over the Terps. Wake improved to 8-5 and 1-2 in the ACC.
