As the regular season came to an end, Maryland did it in style, marking and celebrating milestones. Head Coach Brenda Frese earned her 250th career win on the road against Wake Forest. As the team returned home, Frese's Terrapin family found a special way to honor her. A week later a member of sophomore Yemi Oyefuwa's immediate family came over from London to support her. With the extra motivation, Oyefuwa had a career day against Clemson. Capping off the season was Senior Night which recognized Emery Wallace and Lori Bjork at center court. Although both players only gave one season to the team on the court, Frese commended the athletes for their love for the game, their program and their work ethic.
This behind-the-scenes television show airs on Comcast Sports Net and chronicles the entire University of Maryland women's basketball season.
The players are the stars of the show and throughout the season, cameras follow the team on and off the court, with each episode told through the voices of the team. During its six-year run, viewers have been taken inside the team for memorable moments, including the run to the 2006 National Championship, the 2009 ACC Championship, Coach Frese's pregnancy, road trips and numerous exciting games.
