GREENSBORO, N.C. - Maryland attacker Alex Aust has been named Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Lacrosse Co-Offensive Player of the Week, announced Tuesday.

Aust, the reigning ACC Offensive Player of the Week, notched 19 points in a pair of wins against UMBC and No. 7 Penn State. Against the Retrievers, the senior from Sterling, Va., racked up a career-best 11 points - one shy of the Terrapin single-game record - including a program record seven assists.

In the 20-10 win over No. 7 Penn State, Aust tallied four goals and four assists to become the eighth player in program history to register 100 career assists. She has posted 38 points in her last four games and leads the nation with 51 points this season.

North Carolina senior midfielder Kara Cannizzaro was named co-offensive player of the week and Duke freshman goalkeeper Kelsey Duryea was recognized as the ACC Defensive Player of the Week.

Maryland travels to Boston College and No. 19 Stony Brook this weekend.
