Team showcases strengths in warm-up event
In 2010-11: Competed in the compulsory basket toss heat in three meets...group's high score was a 9.80 at Baylor with Azusa Pacific (Feb. 24)...member of team that went 8-0 during the regular season and advanced to NCATA championship.
At Maryland: Member of 2009 Cheersport championship team and NCA second-place team ... also on 2010 NCA National Grand Championship team and Cheersport runner-up team.
Before Maryland: Cheered for South Jersey Storm All Stars and her high school's team for four years ... all star team was 7th at the World Championships in 2008 ... was also recruited by University of Delaware.
Personal: Parents are Craig and Carol Schultheis ... was on high school diving team for three years ... was also on the honor roll throughout high school ... worked with a special needs cheerleading team ... lists going to the World Championships in 2008 as her biggest sports thrill ... chose Maryland for the cheer team and it's great opportunities.
