As a Freshman: Indoor- Set team’s best mark in the 800 meter run at the Terrapin Invitational, winning the event with a season-best time of 2:15.44…took second at the Delaware and Invitational in the 800 meter run…Outdoor- Competed in four meets, once taking on the 1,500 meter run…set season-best time in the 800 at the Patriot Open.

Before Maryland: A four-year letterwinner in track … named to the all-city and all-state teams in the 4x800 meter relay in 1999 … all-city in the 4x800 meter relay in 2000 … team captain in 2001 and 2002 … was the indoor national champion in the 4x800 (8:59) in 2002 … Arcadia Invitational champions in the 4x800 in 8:58 … East Coast Invitational 800 meter champion … top prep marks: 56.1 in 400 meters, 2:12 in 800 meters, 4:56 in 1500, 11:00 in 3000 meters and 65.1 in 400 meter hurdles.
