- Steph Lazo leads the team with 31 goals while Maggie McCormick has 35 assists and 56 points. McCormick is the only Nittany Lion with double-digit assists. Nine Penn State players have double-digit goals.
- Emi Smith has started 14 of 15 games in goal and holds an 8.80 goals-against average and a .468 save percentage.

CUMMINGS, WHITTLE EARN B1G WEEKLY HONORS
- Taylor Cummings and Megan Whittle each picked up Big Ten weekly awards after helping the No. 1 Maryland women’s lacrosse team move to 16-0 on the season.
- Cummings earned Co-Defensive Player of the Week honors after picking up 15 draw controls and three ground balls and causing two turnovers in a two wins last week. his is the Ellicott City, Md., native’s first Defensive Player of the Week honor. Cummings has been named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week four times.
- Whittle earned her sixth Freshman of the Week honors of the season. She recorded her eighth and ninth hat tricks of the season in wins over Johns Hopkins and Michigan.

fitzpatrick makes statement with terps
- A transfer from Lehigh, redshirt senior Alex Fitzpatrick has led the Terps in goal. Fitzpatrick has started all 16 games and has played 801 minutes in the cage.
- Fitzpatrick boasts a 6.43 goals-against average and .491 save percentage. Her GAA is good for fifth in the nation and first in the conference, while her save percentage is ranked ninth in the NCAA and first in the Big Ten.
- Fitzpatrick allowed a season-low two goals against Towson, and kept the Tigers off the board completely in the second half. She also recorded a season-best 10 saves against Towson.

- Freshman Megan Whittle has made an immediate impact for the Terps in her first season.
- Whittle has scored 55 goals in 16 games, which ranks first on the team. It also puts her at third in the nation in total goals and sixth in goals per game.
- Whittle was named to the prestigious Tewaaraton Watch List in March.
- Whittle has been named the conference’s Freshman of the Week five times, the most of any honoree. She was also named ILWomen.com’s Freshman of the Week once.
