- Taylor Cummings led the Terps with five goals, while Megan Whittle tallied her sixth three-goal game of the season. Brooke Griffin also notched a hat trick and Kelly McPartland scored twice, while Erin Collins, Taylor Hensh, Shelby Scanlin and Lindsay Biondi each added one goal.
- The Terps outshot the Scarlet Knights, 44-8, while holding a 24-11 advantage in ground balls and 15-9 advantage in draw controls.

Cummings, douty earn b1g weekly honors
- Taylor Cummings was named the Offensive Player of the Week after totaling nine goals and six assists in two games last week. She scored four times and added five assists against Georgetown while also leading the game with five ground balls, six draw controls and three caused turnovers. The junior midfielder netted five goals and notched an assist against Rutgers. She scored a hat trick in the first seven minutes of the game and added four ground balls and four draw controls.
- Megan Douty earned Defensive Player of the Week honors after leading a Terrapin defense that held the Hoyas and Scarlet Knights to eight total goals. She recorded three ground balls and caused two turnovers against Georgetown and picked up two ground balls and two caused turnovers versus Rutgers.
- This is the third straight week Cummings has earned conference Offensive Player of the Week honors and the fourth time overall. This is Douty’s second Defensive Player of the Week nod, and the sixth time a Terp has earned the honor.

- The Ellicott City, Md., native is first in the Big Ten and fifth nationally in draw controls/game (7.08). She is first in the conference and third nationally in points/game (5.17). Cummings also leads the conference and is 23rd nationally in caused turnovers/game (1.75).
fitzpatrick makes statement with terps
- A transfer from Lehigh, redshirt senior Alex Fitzpatrick has led the Terps in goal. Fitzpatrick has started all 12 games and has played 598 minutes in the cage.
- Fitzpatrick boasts a 5.62 goals-against average and .533 save percentage. Her GAA is good for fifth in the nation and first in the conference, while her save percentage is ranked fourth in the NCAA and first in the Big Ten.
- Fitzpatrick allowed a season-low two goals against Towson, and kept the Tigers off the board completely in the second half. She also recorded a season-best 10 saves against Towson.

- Freshman Megan Whittle has made an immediate impact for the Terps in her first season.
- Whittle has scored 40 goals in 12 games, which ranks first on the team. It also puts her at 11th in the nation in total goals.
- Whittle was named to the Tewaaraton Watch List in March. She is the only freshman on the prestigious list.
- Whittle has been named the conference’s Freshman of the Week four times, the most of any honoree. She was also named ILWomen.com’s Freshman of the Week once.
- The attacker came to Maryland as the top-ranked member of her class by Inside Lacrosse.
