Umterps.com sat down with Pavlech to learn about her experience.
How did you find out about the program?
CP: I found out about the program through my mom and through Coach B after I told her I wanted to get into coaching. I had heard great things about it and I knew it would be an awesome opportunity for me.
What did you gain from the experience?
CP: I met a lot of people I had grown up playing against. I networked and got to know my fellow peers. I met coaches who shared their experiences with me. I learned it's about making connections and how important it is to make a personal connection with people. It was exciting meeting coaches who have followed me throughout my Maryland career and were willing to help me in any way possible.
What did you learn?
CP: During the program, they talked a lot about developing players as people and it made me appreciate Coach B even more than I really did. She talks about helping us grow as people and as players all the time and we really do that here at Maryland. I'm blessed to have had four years here.
