INDIANAPOLIS - The fourth-ranked and second-seeded Maryland women's basketball team (27-2) will face sixth-seeded Michigan State (21-10) in the Big Ten Tournament Semifinals Saturday at 6:30 p.m. ET at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Top-seeded Ohio State will take on fifth-seeded Purdue in the first semifinal at 4 p.m.

Seniors Brionna Jones and Shatori Walker-Kimbrough were unanimous All-Big Ten First Team selections this week, both earning the honor for the third straight year. They were both named to the All-Big Ten Defensive Team. Destiny Slocum was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year and to the All-Big Ten Second Team. Kaila Charles earned All-Big Ten Freshman Team honors and Kristen Confroy earned a Sportsmanship Award.
Maryland owns the all-time series with Michigan State, 9-0. The Terrapins have won both of their previous meetings in the Big Ten Tournament as well. Earlier this year, Maryland won 89-72 in East Lansing on Feb. 12. Jones led the way with 28 points and 15 boards and Walker-Kimbrough added 24 points.
The Terrapins are 7-0 in the Big Ten Tournament and 4-0 in Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Last year, Walker-Kimbrough was named Tournament MOP after averaging 19.0 points and 8.3 rebounds in the three-game stretch. Jones was named to the All-Tournament Team after posting 16.7 points and 13.3 boards per game in the run.
Maryland beat Minnesota, 92-80, Friday night in the Big Ten Quarterfinals. Walker-Kimbrough hit six threes and went 11-15 from the field for 28 points, Charles scored 15 and Jones added 14 points and 13 rebounds. Slocum chipped in 13 points and six assists.
Walker-Kimbrough is No. 5 on Maryland's all-time scoring list with 2,064 career points and needs 14 to pass Kristi Toliver at No. 4 (2,078). Walker-Kimbrough's career three-point percentage of 46.1% is currently the best in Maryland history ahead of Toliver's 40.8%. She currently has made 179 three-pointers in her career, which is No. 2 in Maryland history.
Jones is No. 3 on Maryland's rebounding list with 1,152 career boards. She is No. 8 on Maryland's scoring list with 1,806 points.
Slocum's 174 assists this year broke the Maryland freshman record for assists of 171 by Dara Taylor (2010). Slocum's 60 three-pointers broke the freshman record of 59 set by Toliver in 2006.
Jones is leading the country in field goal percentage (69.0%) for the second straight year. The Terrapins lead the country in scoring (90.0) and are No. 2 in field goal percentage (.505) and rebounding margin (+16.1). They are third in scoring margin (+26.9) and fourth in assists (20.2). In Big Ten play, Slocum is leading the league in assists with 7.5 per game and Jones is leading in rebounding (11.4).
