• Ten Terps scored and four Terps had hat tricks as Maryland beat Michigan, 20-7, last Saturday.
• Jen Giles, Kali Hartshorn, Megan Whittle and Brindi Griffin each scored three goals for the Terrapins.
• All three Maryland goalies saw action vs. the Wolverines. Sophomore Megan Taylor made six saves while allowing just two goals in the first half. Senior Emily Kift and junior Emma Moss split time in the second half and both made two saves.

• Kelly Reese leads Virginia with 32 goals and 38 points while Beeser Dyson leads the team with 19 assists.

• Maryland is 113-2 in College Park under head coach Cathy Reese.
• The Terps have won all eight games in which they have played an opponent ranked No. 1 or 2 at home in the past eight seasons.
• Maryland is currently on a 59-game win streak at the Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex and hasn’t lost in College Park since March 10, 2012. The Terrapins are 250-16 in College Park, dating back to 1990.
taylor backlining terps in second season
• Sophomore goalie Megan Taylor has emerged as one of the nation's top netminders this season.
• The Glenelg, Md., native leads the nation with a .6-3 save percentage and is sixth nationally with a 7.91 goals against average. Taylor is also fifth in saves per game at 10.80 and 12th in total saves with 108 on the season.
• Taylor made a career-high 20 saves and held a .714 save percentage against No. 3 Florida. In games against top-five opponents this season, Taylor is averaging 16 saves per game with a .658 save percentage.

• Maryland is once again one of the top teams in the nation on both offense and defense.
• The Terps rank first nationally on offense with 16.45 goals per game. Maryland is sixth in the country on scoring defense defense, allowing just 8.18 goals per game.
