Personal Development Programming

Through participation in TERP 101 and Terps-On-The-Go educational updates as well as Wellness programming, student-athletes assess their interpersonal skills and qualities to maximize their potential. 


TERPS Wellness Series
Educational seminars hosted each semester with a focus on promoting awareness, education, and motivation for positive behavior change. A primary goal of the program is to positively influence decision-making practices that support personal responsibility and foster a healthy community.  

TERPS Menu Program
A program designed to offer coaches an opportunity to provide flexible, individualized educational programming to their respective teams. Coaches are encouraged to use this program as a resource to assist in providing additional opportunities to help student-athletes develop sound life skills for college and life after sport.

TERPS-On-The-Go
Using an on-line platform, custom-designed curriculum and daily educational announcements are delivered to all student-athletes. Topics include: career development, money management, mental health resources, healthy relationships, alcohol awareness, nutrition, leadership and personal wellness.

TERP 101 
The Transition Education Readiness Program: A weekly seminar designed for first-year and transfer student-athletes to teach essential life skills and assist with the transition to the University and collegiate athletics.  

Study Abroad Seminars
Individualized information sessions provided for student-athletes to understand and become familiar with the study abroad opportunity and experience.Â
