The Staff:
Camp Director, Chris Weller, and other members of the Maryland coaching staff will instruct the campers, along with past and present players from the Terrapin Women's Basketball team. Outstanding college and high school coaches will also be part of the staff, along with athletes from other top programs.
Location:
The camp is held on the University of Maryland campus in College Park.
Athletic Facilities:
Cole Field House will be the center for camp activities.
Meals and Housing:
A University residence hall will be used to house the campers. Meals will be provided to ALL CAMPERS as part of the camp fee and will be served in a campus dining hall. Day campers will be served lunch and dinner only. ON THE 1 ST DAY OF CAMP THE FIRST MEAL SERVED WILL BE DINNER.
Campers should eat lunch before orientation on the first day.

Fees: The cost of camp covers lodging, meals, insurance, a camp T-shirt, and awards for some individual and team accomplishments.
Full payment for team camp is due by June 15, 2001. If full payment is not received by June 15th, we will be unable to guarantee your team's registration. NO CHECKS ACCEPTED AFTER JUNE 15.
Full payment for shooting and individual camps is due by July 1, 2001. If full payment is not received by July 1st , we will be unable to guarantee your daughter's registration. NO CHECKS ACCEPTED AFTER JULY 1ST.
Cancellation: Your deposit less a $30 administrative fee will be refunded if you cancel your registration on or before June 1, 2001. After June 1, your $100 deposit will be forfeited upon camp cancellation. Once a camper begins camp, no refunds will be given under any circumstances. Refunds will be returned after September 1, 2001.
THE CHRIS WELLER BASKETBALL CAMP IS A PRIVATELY FUNDED CAMP. ALTHOUGH THE CAMP RENTS FACILITIES FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND, THE CAMP IS NOT SPONSORED BY THE UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND.

Forms: Medical and other registration materials will be sent to you upon receipt of deposit. These forms must be signed BEFORE the camper may participate. If for some reason you do not receive your forms, please contact Beth at 301-314-7013 or Jeanne at 301-314-1747.
Ages: Any girls ages 9-18 years are eligible to register for camp.
Individual Camp: Campers will be divided by age into station groups to work on skills of the game each day. They will also be divided into teams within their age group to form competitive games. There will be games each day.
Shooting Camp: Each camper will be taught the fundamentals of shooting and a progression of individual shooting drills to help them develop their shooting ability.
Team Camp: For Teams 9th - 12th grades. There will be a J.V. division and a varsity division. Teams must bring a minimum of 8 players. Teams are guaranteed at least 10 games. Each team must have a coach. Also each team must have an adult representative that stays in the dorms to help supervise your team.
Athletic Trainer: An athletic trainer will be on duty to treat athletic injuries. The University Health Center will also be available. Signed medical forms are required for participation.
