Become A Maryland Baseball Manager

Are you interested in becoming a Maryland baseball student manager?
  • Maryland baseball student managers are key members of the team and are crucial to the day-to-day operations of the program. Potential responsibilities include setting up and tearing down the field, assisting with drill work/fungos/batting practice, statistical analysis, video capture and editing, operating in-game tagging software, assisting with travel responsibilities, administrative tasks, and other various duties as needed.
What can you expect as a student manager?

  • Attending most practices and home games

  • Applicable experience for a career in baseball in the future
How can you become a student manager?
  • Be a full-time (enrolled in 12+ credits) student at the University of Maryland
  • Fill out this Google Form link
  • Attend Maryland baseball manager tryout on Feb. 6 at 5:00 p.m. at Bob "Turtle" Smith Stadium
  • If inclement weather, tryout will be at 4:30 p.m. at the Varsity Team House
