Students are encouraged to pick up their bibs in advance! Those who pick up their bibs early will receive a race packet, drinks and other marketing items. You will also have the chance to meet a few members of the team in advance.

Bib Pickup Location: 

Southeast entrance to STAMP, near the Nyumburu Amphitheater

Monday, Oct. 18 time 11 AM - 1 PM
Tuesday, Oct. 18 time 1 - 3 PM
Wednesday, Oct. 20 time 3 - 5 PM

To pick up your Midnight Mile bib, you must show your valid University of Maryland ID card and sign an official 2021 Midnight Mile waiver.

Q: Am I actually running with the Maryland Men's Basketball team?
A: Yes! You will actually be running with the team. Come early to meet and take photos with them! Watch a previous year's event here!

Q: What gate should I enter?
A: Gate A at Kehoe Track at Ludwig Field

Q: What are the giveaways?
A: All race participants will receive a Midnight Mile race bib, pizza and drinks. The first 250 students at the event will receive a Midnight Mile t-shirt, sponsored by Ledo Pizza. New this year, we will also be raffling off an electric scooter! The electric scooter raffle will happen at the end of the race.

Q: What time will the event end?
A: Around 12:45 AM. At the conclusion of the race, students will pick up their t-shirt, enjoy pizza, and the raffle winner for an away trip with the team will be announced.

Q: If I can't pick up my bib at STAMP, can I get it at the race?
A: Yes. However, expect to wait in a long line. Please have your valid University of Maryland ID ready to present to sign the waiver and receive your bib.

Q: What should I wear?
A: Your favorite Terps athletic gear or any running gear will suffice.

Q: Do I need to register if I don't want to run?
A: You do not. Just join for the fun! Cheer on your friends from the stands!

Q: Can I bring a water bottle into the facility?
A: Yes, for this event it is allowed.

Q: What if there is inclement weather?
A: We will notify all registered participants via email the day of the event. We will also announce on @TerrapinHoops twitter if there appears to be rain in the forecast. Pay close attention to your email and social media.
