SECU Stadium is designed with parking, restrooms, concessions, water fountains, ATM's, and seating areas accessible to guests with disabilities.
Assisted Listening Devices
Assisted listening devices are available upon request at SECU Stadium. Please notify a Maryland Athletics staff member if you or a guest is in need.
Bag Policy & Medical Bag Exemptions
SECU Stadium is a clear bag facility. For further information, please see our full policy
here. Whenever possible, items should be carried in a compliant clear bag. However, should you or a guest possess a non-compliant bag
necessary for a medical need (to carry special equipment, to keep medicine cold, etc.), please check in with event staff at your gate and ask to speak to a supervisor. It will be searched and tagged to notify other staff that the bag has been inspected.
Closed Captioning
Closed captioning of the game public address announcements will be available on two ribbon boards on the east end of the stadium on Gossett Team House. Additionally, closed captioning can be accessed via your personal smart phone or tablet at this link:

Elevators
Elevators are located at the following locations and are available for all patrons
-North Concourse (Inside Gates C & D)
- Access to 200 and 300 levels
-South Concourse (Beneath Tyser Tower)
- Elevators #1 - #4 provide access to all levels of Tyser Tower
Entrances
All of the entrances, with the exception of Gate A, into SECU Stadium are accessible to our guests with disabilities.
First Aid
First Aid Stations are located behind Section 14 and Section 23 on the Concourse Level (1st level). Physicians, paramedics, and ambulances are all available during Terrapin football games. If needed, please contact the nearest Maryland guest service representative, usher, stadium security personnel, or police officer for assistance.
Metal Detection & Wanding
Guests entering SECU Stadium may be subject to search via walkthrough metal detectors or handheld wands. If you or a guest cannot partake in metal detection due to a medical condition or disability, please check in with event staff at your gate for an alternative screening process.
Parking
ADA accessible parking is available via the north entrance of Stadium Drive Garage. You may purchase an online permit for any football lot and display both your online pre-paid permit and your disability license plate or placard. Stadium Drive Garage is directly adjacent to the stadium, so no shuttle service is required for guests that park in this lot.
Vehicles MUST have a disabled license plate or placard to enter an ADA accessible parking area.

All parking lots open six (6) hours prior to kickoff. For more information, please refer to the

Restrooms
Restrooms are located on all three (3) levels of SECU Stadium. All restrooms are accessible to our guests with disabilities and equipped with diaper changing stations.
Tailgate Restrooms can be found at Ludwig, XFINITY Center, and portable locations throughout parking lots.
Seating
Accessible seating for guests with disabilities are available at five (5) locations throughout SECU Stadium. Guests with disabilities are permitted to purchase tickets for up to three (3) additional guests in these areas or adjacent sections.
- At the top of Section 2 on the Concourse Level (1st level) on the north side of the stadium in the visiting team section.
- At the top of Section 9 on the Concourse Level (1st level) on the north side of the stadium*.
- *This seating area is available to students only.
- At the top of Section 28 on the Concourse Level (1st level) on the south side of the stadium.
- Throughout the aisle between rows H and S on the Club Level (2nd level).
- Throughout the aisle between rows F and G on the View Level (3rd level).

Service Animals
Service animals are allowed inside SECU Stadium. If possible, please email
terpsgameday@umd.edu in advance of your trip to campus so we may notify event staff to be aware of your arrival to the game. Emotional support animals are not generally allowed in SECU Stadium. However, exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis once the individual has completed an interactive accommodation process with the university ADA/504 Coordinator.
Wheelchairs
Wheelchairs are not provided at SECU Stadium. All guests requiring a wheelchair must provide them for their own use. If a guest requires medical attention or mobility assistance, please notify the closest event staff member or first aid staff.
