Carl Hill is currently the academic counselor for baseball, wrestling, and field hockey.
He joined the Maryland Athletics staff after a six-year tenure at the University of Louisville where he guided the academic support for football, baseball, men's golf, and women's tennis. Prior to Louisville, Hill was an academic advisor for University of Akron.
A native of Haslett, Mich., Hill was a four-year letterman with men's basketball at Alma College (Mich.) and is currently a member of the National Association of Academic & Student-Development Professionals (N4A.)
Hill earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Alma College in 2006, and a master's in sport psychology from the University of Tennessee in 2008.
