As a Redshirt Freshman (2014): An All-Big Ten Academic selection … did not see game action … earned defensive scout team player of the week honors for his preparation for West Virginia (9/15).

As a Freshman (2013): Served a redshirt season.

At Hollidaysburg Area High School: Named a National Underclassmen Combine All-American … also excelled in track … set school records in the 55 and 60m dashes … recruited by Penn State, Virginia and Pittsburgh.

Personal: Son of John and Kristi Ventura … has two sisters, Nicholle and Blaise … enjoys boxing in his free time.
