As a Senior (2013): Appeared in one game ... named scout team special teams player of the week for his efforts in preparation for Virginia Tech (11/16).

As a Redshirt Junior (2012): Served as a reserve wide receiver … member of the scout team offense … named scout team special teams player of the week for his efforts in preparation leading up to the Connecticut (9/15) game … traveled with the team as a defensive back at at Temple (9/8) and at West Virginia (9/22)… switched to wide receiver and made the travel squad at Clemson (11/10) and at North Carolina (11/24) … did not see game action.

As a Junior (2011): Did not game action as a reserve defensive back … joined the team in the fall.

At Garnet Valley High School: Played as a defensive back for three seasons … won the congressional district scholar athlete award … team won the 206 district title … state runner-up in 2007 … league champion in 2008…coached by Mike Ricci.

Personal: Parents are Corbin and Angela Whittington … born in North Brunswick, N.J. … sports hero is Michael Vick … came to Maryland because of the campus and academics … hobbies include stocks, golf and reading business magazines … major is family science … recruited by Villanova, Georgetown, Temple, Lafayette and Princeton.
