Jarrod James joined the Terrapin coaching staff in February of 2025 and he’ll be assisting with the offensive line.
Before coming to Maryland, James spent three seasons with the Houston Texans as an Offensive Assistant Coach, working closely with the offensive line.
James also has collegiate coaching stops at Michigan State, Arkansas State University, and the University of North Carolina.
James was a member of the University of North Carolina football team from 2011-13 and played in games at center during his redshirt freshman and sophomore seasons. He was granted a medical exemption for his final two seasons due to a neck injury.
James' coaching career started at UNC when he served as an undergraduate student assistant coach for the Tar Heels.
