Mckenzie Quick

Mckenzie Quick joined the Gossett Student Athlete Center in February 2022 as a Learning Specialist and Athletic Academic Counselor for Football. She enters her third school year in this role in 2024-25. 

In her role, Quick provides one-on-one instruction to foster academic growth while helping student-athletes reach their academic potential. She also conducts weekly meetings and monitors academic degree progress towards graduation. 


Before coming to Maryland, Quick was an Academic Coach and Tutor Coordinator at Virginia Commonwealth University. Prior to VCU, she was a graduate assistant at West Virginia University where she was the Athletic Academic Advisor for Women’s Swim and Dive and a Learning Specialist for Olympic Sports.

A native of Clarsburg, Md, Quick earned her B.S. in sport management in 2019 from Liberty University. She earned her M.S. in sport management from West Virginia University in 2021. Quick enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog Koda!
