Chris Robinson joined Terrapin Athletics full-time in 2021 and moved into the role of executive assistant in the summer of 2025.

Robinson was the men's basketball program's Coordinator of Basketball Operations from May 2023 to summer 2025. He served as the team liaison with the External Operations Group which supports the program in marketing, communications, social media, and video production.

A native of Clarksville, MD, Robinson was hired full-time as the Assistant Coordinator for the Terps from 2021-23.

Prior to that Robinson was a graduate manager from 2019-21. While a graduate manager, Robinson handled a multitude of logistical aspects of the team including assisting with team travel and team meals. Robinson also assisted in opponent scouting and worked with assistant coaches to complete scouting reports. Additionally, he created video recruiting projects for the coaching staff, which included both technical breakdowns and creative edits to show prospective recruits.

From 2016-19 Robinson was a student manager at Maryland and served as the head manager for the 2018-19 season. During this time, Robinson led a group of 12 student managers. He organized all team equipment for road trips and facilitated all day-to-day operations for the program.

Robinson graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in broadcast journalism in 2019 and a master’s degree in supply chain management in 2021.
