Sophomore (2019)

• Made 13 starts in 31 appearances, making starts in the outfield and as the DP
• Drove in a run in the first game of the season vs. Murray State (Feb. 8)
• Had a season-high two hits and drove in a run vs. Troy (Feb. 9)
• Crossed home plate a career-high three times vs. UNC Greensboro (March 3)
• Also had hits in games against Louisiana-Monroe (Feb. 16), Portland State (Feb. 22), UNC Greensboro (March 3), Fairfield (March 8) and Penn State (April 21)

Freshman (2018)

• Appeared in 43 games and started in 26
• First hit of the season was a double and had an RBI in win against Iowa State (2/23)
• Had another hit against Georgia Southern (2/24)
• Had five hits, two RBIs and scored a run in Louisville Invitational (3/2-4)
• Started off the Maryland Invitational (3/8-10) with a double against Utah (3/8)
• Went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored against Utah (3/10)
• Had three hits in Hawaii Tournament (3/16-18)
• Had a hit in win against Cleveland State (3/16)
• Went 1-for-2 against No. 4 Tennessee (3/17)
• Went 1-for-4 with two RBIs a double and run at Hawaii (3/19)

Before Maryland: Two-time Coliseum League selection...Torrance National Tournament First Team selection...two-time All-Pioneer League selection...played travel ball with Corona Angels, where she helped squad to back-to-back top-20 premier finishes...team was a national berth winner in Salinas, Calif. during junior season...team took second in 2016 Arizona qualifier...dean’s list…principal’s honor…coached by Kim Howard.

Personal: Daughter of Bill and Jill Younkin…has two siblings, Breanna and Kaylee…lists most interesting accomplishment as mission trip to San Francisco…chose Maryland because of the competitiveness of the Big Ten both athletically and academically…career plans include becoming an advocate for survivors of abuse…majoring in anthropology and criminal justice.
