As a Freshman (2023):
  • Scored three goals and notched seven assists in his debut season in College Park. 
  • His 10 combined goals and assists was the most for a Maryland freshman since Eryk Williamson had six goals and five assists in 2015.
  • Won Big Ten Freshman of the Year. Stewart-Baynes is Maryland's second Big Ten Freshman of the Year following Joshua Bolma, who won the award in 2021. Patrick Mullins (2010) and Jeremy Hall (2006) won conference freshman of the year honors in the ACC.
  • Unamimous selection to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team. 
  • Started and played 54 minutes against Missouri State (8/24).
  • Secured a goal and an assist in the 2-0 victory against UNC Greensboro (8/27).
  • Started and played 71 minutes against Wake Forest (9/1).
  • Notched an assist and three shots in 81 minutes at Virginia (9/4).

  • Recorded three shots and an assist in a 66 minutes start at Michigan State (10/15).

  • Recorded a shot on goal and a pair of assists in 45 minutes in a 3-0 victory against Navy (10/24).
