As a Sophomore (2010-11): One of Maryland's top backstroke competitors, Fisher ranked among the Terps' top five in the 100 and 200 back...finished 19th in the 100 back (49.95) at the ACC Championships...also took 17th in the 200 back (1:47.25) at the championships.
As a Freshman (2009-10): Boasted the third best time in the 200 back (1:49.23) and the fourth in the 100 back (50.88)...recorded both times at the ACC Championships...finished 21st in the 200 back (1:49.23) and 51st in a prelim 50 free swim (21.89)...also tallied points as Maryland captured the 2009 Terrapin Cup championship by finishing fourth in the 200 back (1:50.26) and 10th in the 100 back (52.15)...established career-bests in the 50 free, 100 back, 200 back and 100 fly.
Before Maryland: Placed fourth in the Metros in 100 back in 2009...squad had an undefeated season and were division, county and metro champions...tabbed Potomac Gazette honorable mention...also competed with Curl Burke Swim Club.
Personal: Son of Hank and Megan Fisher...has seven siblings, Lindsay, Kevin, Ryan, Haley, Taylor, Kelly and Mackenzie...lists his sports hero as former Maryland great Juan Dixon...undecided on major.
