As a Freshman (2007-08): Had career-best mark with a 50.08 in the 100-yard backstroke at the Georgia Tech LCQ...finished 16th at ACC Finals in 100 backstroke (50.13)...placed second against NC State and Johns Hopkins, third against Duke and fifth at the Terrapin Cup in the same event...also swam a team-best 1:47.70 in 200 backstroke in ACC prelims and finished eighth in the finals...placed in the top three v. NC State, Duke, Johns Hopkins and Pitt in 200 back.
Before Maryland: Four-time All-American and Junior National Qualifier ... placed fifth in the 100-yard backstroke and was a member of the fourth-place 200 medley relay team at the 2006 Ohio High School State Championships ... swam for the New Albany Aquatic Club.
