As a Junior (2007-08): Swam NCAA B-cut times in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle and 100 backstroke...led off for the three NCAA B-cut relays including the 200 and 400 free and 200 medley teams... won the 50 free at the Terrapin Cup (20.62) and v. Pitt (20.73) and UMBC (21.33)...finished eighth in the ACC Championships in the 50 free (20.70)...excelled in 100 free for the Terps as well, taking first in Terrapin Cup (45.04) and in duals v. Duke (46.15) and UMBC (46.57)...also placed fifth at ACC Championships in 100 backstroke (48.73)...won 100 back at Terrapin Cup (50.60) and v. Duke (51.55)...member of third-place 200 free relay at ACCs while setting a school-record...also part of school-record relays in 400 free and 200 IM that finished fifth and seventh at the ACCs, respectively...member of first-place 400 medley relay team at Terrapin Cup.
As a Sophomore (2006-07): Won the 100-yard freestyle (46.11) and led-off the first-place 200 medley relay team (1:33.80) against Johns Hopkins in the season opener ... won the 100 free (46.23), placed second in the 100 backstroke (51.70) and led the 200 free relay team to first place (1:25.13) against Duke and NC State ... finished eighth overall in the 100 back (51.99) and led the sixth-place 200 free relay team (1:24.26), sixth-place 400 free relay team (3:07.27) and seventh-place 200 medley relay team (1:33.75) at the Terrapin Cup ... led off the first-place 400 medley relay team (3:29.03), 400 free relay team (3:12.45), 200 back relay team (1:37.45), and 200 free relay team (1:26.20) at the FIU Invitational ... led off the second-place 200 medley relay team (1:32.74), second-place 400 free relay team (3:08.00), second-place 200 free relay team (1:24.55), and anchored the second-place 400 medley relay team (3:29.06) against Pittsburgh and Villanova ... also won the 100 back (50.35) and finished second in the 50 free (21.01) against Pitt and Nova in the final home meet of the season ... placed fifth in the 100 free (46.09), led off the fourth-place 400 medley relay team (3:27.15), and was a member of the third-place 400 free relay team (3:10.70) against Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech ... took second in both the 50 free (20.91) and 200 back (1:53.66), and led off both the first-place 200 free relay team (1:23.42) and 200 medley relay team (1:32.49) at North Carolina ... led both the 200medley relay team (1:32.50) and 200 free relay team (1:22.43) to first place at Virginia ... set a school record and career best in the 100 back at ACC Championships, placing ninth overall with a time of 48.93 ... also at ACCs, took third overall in the 100 free (44.57) after swimming a season-best time of 44.54 in the prelim ... top finisher in the consolation final for the 50 free finishing ninth overall with a season-best time (20.20) at ACCs ... led-off the fourth-place 400 medley relay team with a season-best time (3:18.70), the fifth-place 200 free relay team (1:21.08), the sixth-place 200 medley relay team with a season-best time (1:29.54) and the sixth-place 400 free relay team (3:00.84) at the ACC Championships.
As a Freshman (2005-06): Joined the team late in the 2005-06 season ... was successful at the ACC Championships where he contributed to a fourth-place finish in the 200 free relay (1:20.81), third in the 400 free relay (2:58.83), sixth in the 200 medley relay (1:30.21), and eighth in the 400 medley relay (3:19.74) ... also placed individually, ninth in the 50 free (20.37) and 15th in the 100 back (50.08) at the 2006 ACC Championships.
Before Maryland: Won the State Championship in the 50 free and 100 free ... won districts two years in a row in the 100 free ... top time in the 50 free was 20.36, 100 free was 45.00 and 100 back was 50.00
