As a Freshman (2009-10): Boasted the second best times on the team in the 200 IM (1:53.23) and 400 IM (4:05.22)...also had the fourth best time in the 200 fly (1:51.27) and 200 back (1:54.86)...finished in the top 35 in the prelims of the 200 IM, 200 fly, and 400 IM at the ACC Championships...scored points to help aid Maryland to the 2009 Terrapin Cup title by placing 10th in the 200 IM (1:56.47) and the 200 fly (1:52.74) and 11th in the 400 IM (4:11.24)...established career-best times in the 200 and 400 IM as well as the 200 fly.
Before Maryland: Captain as a senior at Bowling Green High School...school record holder in 100 fly, 100 back, and 50 free...three-year team MVP...three-time all-state selection...also competed with Bowling Green Swim Club.
