As a Sophomore (2004-05): Established new career bests times finishing 19th in both the 200 IM (1:53.52) and 400 IM (4:01.59) at the ACC Championships ... opened his sophomore season against Johns Hopkins and Howard finishing fourth in the 200 IM (2:00.22) and sixth in the 100 breast (1:03.26) ... came in 11th in the 200 IM (2:01.15), 14th in the 400 IM (4:19.76), and 12th in the 200 breast (2:17.16) against Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech and Florida State ... swam a career best time of 53.11 in the 100 fly during the Terrapin Cup Invitational ... also finished ninth in the 200 IM (1:54.51), fourth in the 400 IM (4:07.38), 24th in the 100 fly (55.89), seventh in the 200 breast (2:07.79), and was part of the sixth-place 800 free relay team and the seventh-place 400 free relay team at the Invitational ... established a new career best time by finishing 11th in both the 100 breast (1:01.22) and the 200 breast (2:19.43), and finished fifth in the 200 IM (1:57.21) against Pittsburgh, Villanova and NC State ... took fourth in the 200 IM (2:00.58) against the Blue Devils ... captured eighth in both the 200 breast (2:16.34) and the 200 IM (2:03.78) at North Carolina...ended the season with an eighth-place finish in the 200 IM (2:03.10) and a fourth-place finish in the 200 breast (2:18.79) against Virginia.

Personal: Anthony J. Miller ... son of Deborah and Daniel Miller ... has two brothers, Andrew (29), and Joseph (26), and one sister, Amanda (29) ... also recruited by Johns Hopkins, Lehigh, Delaware and Villanova ... chose to attend Maryland for its engineering program and competitive swim team ... lists finish second in the 200 IM at the YMCA Long Course Nationals in 2002 as his biggest athletic thrill ... favorite athlete is Lance Armstrong ... enjoys surfing ... majoring in chemical engineering.
