Before Maryland: Ran four years of track at Union High School… three-time state champion in the 200 meters…league’s co-athlete of the year 2015 and 2017…2017 co-scholar athlete of the year...holds school records in the 100m, 200m, 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400… 2016 4x4 USATF JO All-American/National Champions, 4x4 USATF state & region champions… 2017 200m USATF state champion…team captain

Personal: Daughter of Dominique and Beverly Merriweather...father ran track at University of Reno and Concordia...sister Jai’lyn is also on the team...has two other siblings, Gabryel and Tobias...chose Maryland, “to be a part of a team that will better my track and field career and to get a really good education”…sports heroes are Allison Felix and Simone Biles…craziest ambitions include being an Olympian and a fashion designer…intends to major in business and supply chain management.
