Maryland women's lacrosse head coach Cathy Reese is excited to announce that the program will welcome back three-time national champion Nadine Hadnagy to serve as the Terrapin's Director of Operations.

"I couldn't be more thrilled to bring back Nadine to the University of Maryland," said Reese. "Nadine is a winner through and through and was a model student-athlete for our program, always embracing the standards and expectations we have on a day-to-day basis. Her passion, intelligence, and pride for our university make her a fantastic addition to our staff."

Hadnagy helped lead the Terps to three national championships, hoisting the trophy in 2014, 2015 and 2017. A Farmingdale, N.Y. native, Hadnagy was a 2017 Tewaaraton Finalist, a two-time IWLCA All-American and the 2017 IWLCA National Defender of the Year and Big Ten Defender of the Year.

"I am really excited to be back at a place that I care so deeply about and have so much pride for," said Hadnagy. "Maryland lacrosse is truly special and I am looking forward to working for a program that gave me some of the best years of my life. I can't wait to continue to learn from and work with Cathy, Kenis and Caitlyn and help make this program the best it can be."

A lockdown defender, Hadnagy played in every game of her collegiate career, making 90 starts from 2014-2017. She compiled 115 ground balls, 74 caused turnovers, 19 draw controls, and seven points.

Hadnagy spent the last four years as an assistant coach at the University of Florida, where she coached the Gators defense and helped lead them to four conference championships and two NCAA Quarterfinal appearances. Florida went 55-16 in Hadnagy's four years on the staff in Gainesville.
