As a Graduate Student (2023):

  • Made his Maryland debut starting in right field vs. Ole Miss (2/24). 
  • Recorded his first hit and RBI as a Terp vs. Ole Miss (3/3). 
  • Went 2-3, reaching base four times, driving in four RBIs and scoring two runs vs UMBC (3/7). 
  • Hit his first HR as a Terp vs. Maine (3/12).
  • Went 2-5 with a HR and three RBIs vs. Delaware (3/15).
  • Went 3-6 with two HR and four RBIs vs. Albany (3/17).
  • Went 2-4 with a 3-run HR vs. GWU (3/21). 
  • Went 2-5 with two RBIs vs. Iowa (4/2).

As a Senior at Bryant (2022):

  • NEC Player of the Year.
  • All-NEC First Team.
  • NEIBA All-New England First Team.
  • ABCA All-Region First Team.
  • All-ECAC First Team.
  • One of the best offensive seasons in program history batting .384 with 17 doubles, seven triples, eight home runs, 45 RBI and 43 runs scored.
  • Finished with the fourth-most hits in a single season in DI program history, the sixth-best average, the seventh-most doubles, second-most triples and fourth-most total bases.
  • Collected 27 multi-hit games and 14 multi-RBI games.
  • Had seven three-hit games, two four-hit games and two five-hit games ... 3-for-5 with a double and a triple vs No. 12 East Carolina ... 3-for-3 with a double and four RBI at No. 24 Old Dominion ... Doubled and homered at Hartford on Mar. 16.
  • Tied single-game DI program record with a 5-for-5 day at URI on Mar. 18 ... 2-for-2 with three walks and four runs scored at Brown on Mar. 30 ... Posted 10 multi-hit games in a 12-game stretch from Apr. 12 to Apr. 30 ... Five RBI in a win over Holy Cross ...   • Named to the All-Tournament team after collecting nine hits and homering in the opening game vs CCSU.

As a Junior at Bryant (2021):

  • Started all 42 games.
  • Made starts at first, third, center and right field.
  • Hit .314 with six doubles, two home runs, 20 RBI and 46 runs scored.
  • Posted a .407 OBP and stole nine bases.
  • Hit his first-career home run, drove in three runs and scored twice vs Wagner on Apr. 1.
  • Went 4-for-4 a double, a triple, two RBI and three runs vs FDU on Apr. 10.
  • Homered, drove in two and scored three times vs Army.
  • Doubled twice vs LIU on May 1.
  • Had three hits and three runs scored at Wagner on May 16.
  • Scored four times in the NEC Tournament opener vs LIU. 
  • Named to the NEC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

As a Sophomore at Bryant (2020):

  • Started seven games at first and five in left field.
  • Scored 12 runs and stole seven bases.
  • Finished the season ranked 33rd nationally in stolen bases per game.
  • Made his first career start at UNC Wilmington on Feb. 15.
  • Went 1-for-4 with two runs scored and a stolen base at Georgia State. 
  • Scored three runs in a weekend series at Virginia Tech.
  • Walked twice and stole two bases at Maryland on Mar. 8.
  • Walked four times, stole two bases and scored four runs in final game at Western Carolina. 

As a Freshman at Bryant (2019):

  • Appeared in 17 games for the Bulldogs.
  • Went 3-for-12 with an RBI and a run scored.
  • Made his collegiate debut on Feb. 17 at Abilene Christian.
  • Posted his first-career hit at Hartford on Mar. 20.
  • Collected his first-career RBI vs. LIU Brooklyn on May 11.
  • NEC Academic Honor Roll selection. 

Before College:

  • A member of the varsity baseball, basketball and soccer teams since ninth grade at Pilgrim High School.
  • A four-time all-city selection, three-time all-division and three-time all-state selection in baseball.
  • 2018 Rawlings/Perfect Game Preseason All-American Second Team.
  • Player of the Year in Central Rhode Island Division after hitting .406 with five doubles and six triples.
  • All-City Player of the Year  and First Team All-State as a senior.
  • MVP of the Providence Sports and Leadership Slugfest during summer of 2018.
  • Four-time all-city selection and a two-time first team all-division selection in socce. 
  • Three-time first team all-city, three-time all-league and three-time all-division selection in basketball.
  • Finished fifth all-time in scoring at Pilgrim with 1,182 points.
  • National Honor Society member.
  • United States Army Reserve National Guard Male Scholar-Athlete Award at Pilgrim.
  • The son of Chris and Susan Woods.
  • Has one brother and one sister.
  • Grandfather, Don Mezzanotte and Uncle, Tom Mezzanotte, both played baseball at Providence College.
