Lorenzo Tomasiello joined the University of Maryland in August of 2019 as an assistant strength & conditioning coach. He is responsible for all aspects of strength and conditioning for women’s soccer, gymnastics, and golf.
Prior to coming to Maryland, Tomasiello was a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at Missouri State University where he oversaw women’s soccer and cross country, as well as assisted with several other Olympic sport teams. In addition to Missouri State, Tomasiello interned with Rutgers University and the University of Iowa, working with Olympic strength and conditioning departments.
Tomasiello is originally from Matawan, N.J. He received his Master’s of Science in health promotion and wellness management from Missouri State University and his Bachelor’s of Science in human physiology from the University of Iowa.
Tomasiello is Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified from the CSCCa and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the NSCA.
