Casey Moore joins the Maryland Swimming and Diving coaching staff for the 2006-07 Season as the head coach of the diving program.
Moore has coached since she was sixteen years old. She was the head coach for nine years at Crofton Swim and Tennis Club. She also coached at Calvert Hall College High School in Towson, Md. for one year and at American University for two seasons.
Moore has traveled throughout the US and Japan doing themed high dive shows with Watershow Productions, Inc.
Moore dove for the University of Delaware in 1996 and briefly at Maryland in 1997. While at Maryland, she actively participated in Gymkana for 4 years and served as president of Gymkana in 2000.
Last year, Moore taught biology and forensics at Loch Raven High School in Towson, Md. Currently, she works for Varsity Group, an educational solutions company in Dupont Circle, Washington DC. She also competes in triathlons with a team called Team Z, out of Arlington, Va.
