Before Maryland: Lettered in swimming for four years at Damascus ... named All-Met by the Washington Post, All-County by the Montgomery Journal and All-Gazette in 2004 ... captained the team as a senior ... won the 200 IM at Metros ... holds the school record in the 100, 200 and 500 free and the 200 IM ... named team MVP as a sophomore, junior and senior.
