Melissa Chepulis (formerly Pforr) was hired in 2019 as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for the volleyball team. She additionally worked with the tennis and cheerleading program over her 5 years as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. In 2022 she was hired as the Associate Athletic Trainer for the Women's Basketball team.

Melissa received her Masters of Science in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Central Florida in May of 2016. During her two years in Orlando, FL, she worked with the athletes of the UCF Volleyball and Cheer teams.

In 2014, Melissa graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, with her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. During her time at Baylor University, she worked with the Bears football, softball, baseball, soccer, cross country and track and field teams.  During this time she traveled to the 2014 Fiesta Bowl Game and traveled to Zambia, Africa for a Sports Ministry Mission Trip.

She has been a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) since 2010, and is currently CPR/AED certified. 

A native of Falcon, Colo., Melissa currently resides in College Park, Maryland, with her husband Brian Chepulis.
